As Easy As It Is To Just Type "Merry Christmas" I'll Settle With Something A Little More Creative - Happy Easter! Wait...

Ahh. I just had the best breakfast in the world. Eggs+Cinnamon Rolls+Grapefruit+Bacon+Coffee ...who needs Christmas dinner when you've got a breakfast like that? Well, I suppose you aren't that interested in the details of my food consumption, so I'll spare you the rest. Even though I cold go on about how delicious and gooey and spectacular and tasty and wonderful it was...

Anyways. Music, music, music. That's supposed to be my topic isn't it? First off, I finally became acquainted with a wonderful site called last.fm, perhaps you're already familiar with it, well kudos to you. But for the rest of you, any of you, who are interested in music, (well if you're reading my music blog I'd assume you are...) check it out! It's incredible. Amazing. Spectacular. (ALMOST as good as my breakfast ...but not quite) Last.fm is your one-stop source for anything related to music. It works seamlessly with your iTunes and iPod; using a process called scrobbling it listens to what you listen to and gives you charts and recommendations and links to free mp3s based on what you listen to! It took me about a half an hour to set it up with my itunes and ipod and now everytime I listen to a song, either my laptop OR my ipod, it constantly updates my profile and gives me feedback! It's definitely something worth checking into.

In other news...

COLDPLAY has a free Viva La Vida remix on their website that's worth downloading (can't say no to free right?) Here's a link to their website. Just click on the link to the right that says "A Christmas Pressie From Coldplay"

AMAZON is giving away three dollars in free credits to anyone who's purchased anything through them over the past year (who hasn't?). Again, can't say no to free can you?

As for music recommendations, I've recently became quite a fan of David Bowie. I purchased his greatest hits as a Christmas present for my dad, and there are definitely some pretty epic tunes on there. "All The Young Dudes" - "Changes" - "Fame" - and obviously "Space Oddity" are some songs that are more than worth your time and effort to check out.

I suppose I'll leave it at that, I wish you a wonderful and Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

Remember - Last.Fm and Coldplay
